In the last years, the number of Lycée-graduates with Turkish background opting to study Law has increased enormously. After their studies, they work as Lawyers in companies and public administration, or independently as Attorneys-at-Law. Initially as an informal group, Swiss-Turkish lawyers began to create a professional network for the excahnge of information and ideas. Finally on March 8, 2008, the group was put on a more formal footing and became STAJ.
